Wrestling, Judo, & Krav Maga Facility in Newtown Square
A Training Environment Built for Real Development
The room matters because coaching matters.
At Elite, athletes are taught the fundamentals, tested against resistance and pressure, and corrected when technique breaks down. Every session follows a clear purpose and progression.
This is not random training or intensity for its own sake.
Athletes do not come here to stay busy. They come here to build skill, composure, and the ability to perform under pressure.
Elite Training Center: Owner
Wayne Helms
Wayne Helms leads Elite Training Center with a coaching philosophy shaped by real competition and decades of developing athletes. He learned early that wrestling success is not built on talent alone. It is earned through discipline, structure, correction, and consistent work over time.
As a USA Wrestling Silver Level Coach, Wayne brings high-level competitive experience, two Academic All-American honors, and a record of coaching athletes who have become state champions and medalists.
What matters most is how that experience shows up in the room. Wayne watches closely, corrects directly, and holds athletes accountable for applying what they are taught. Fundamentals are developed the right way. Pressure is introduced with purpose. Athletes are expected to listen, respond, and keep working when training becomes difficult.
The goal is not quick praise or short-term results. It is to develop disciplined, capable athletes who can handle adversity, apply coaching, and continue improving over time.
That standard defines the program and what families should expect when their athlete steps onto the mat.

Elite Training Center: Striking Coach /Certified Personal Trainer
Janet Karasavas
Janet Karasavas brings a disciplined, technical approach shaped by years of experience in striking, conditioning, and athlete development. Through Muay Thai, boxing, kickboxing, and fitness coaching, she has learned how to build strength, skill, and composure through consistent, focused work.
Her coaching is grounded in both technical instruction and practical application. Janet understands how to lead demanding group sessions without losing structure, clarity, or control. Students are taught how to move correctly, apply technique under pressure, and improve through direct feedback and repeated practice.
Her style is challenging, measured, and purposeful. Students are pushed to work, but never through random intensity. Technique comes first. Pressure is introduced deliberately. Progress is built through correction, repetition, and increasing resistance.
The result is not confidence handed out through encouragement. It is capability earned through training and the ability to perform with greater control when the work becomes difficult.
